An organization for Cleveland Tennessee for "New Chapters" in Your Life.

Next meeting is August 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Cleveland Parks and Recreation Department
Municipal Building Annex
160 2nd St NE. Cleveland Tn 37311

The Cleveland Parks and Rec is partnering with citizens to start a club for NEW ADVENTURES. You don't have to be new to the area to join, you may be newly retired, or a new empty-nester, or even just have a newfound desire to get out for exercise or new plans to socially meet some new friends.

The mission is connecting people from Cleveland and people new to Cleveland and those starting NEW Chapters, for fun and fitness and social activities.  This will be a daytime club with two meetings a month the second and fourth Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.  Connect to others when you are in transition to a new stage of life.

Our vision is to make Cleveland your home with lots of support from your friends and neighbors. A social club for education, fun, fitness and connections!

There will be speakers, programming, and interactions with the entire group and sub-groups which you can plan to be part of one or all such as a walking group, or a day trip group, or an outreach group or a game group, or whatever you can purpose for yourself and others.

If you have ever been part of a welcome wagon, newcomers club, or a ball team or special group, you have skills to share as we start something NEW.

The next planning meeting will be on  August 25, 1:30pm at Cleveland Parks and Recreation Department where we will finalize the officers, edit the by-laws and plan a calendar. Lots of fun and lots of opportunity.

The Kick-off meeting will be September 8 at 1:30 for your membership and to get all the dates for events.  That will be held at the Carmichael Room at the Cleveland Public Library.

Other dates include a trip to Red Clay state park with the ranger, a speaker on healthy lifestyle, a tour of the historical buildings of the library, and social events for fun and interaction!

This group will be represented at the Fifty-Five+ Expo on September 23 at the Museum Center at Five Points.  10 am to 3 p.m. free and open to public.

We all start NEW Adventures as our life circumstances change! Come and be part of the new social club in the city! All welcome.
